Stephen, who is often referred to as “the most-heard, least-known composer in the world,” was an early leader in "sonic branding" – the unique art of blending original music compositions with unique tones and sounds to create distinct auditory signatures or logos.
Stephen and his handpicked team created numerous award-winning musical compositions for high-profile clients, including CNN, ABC News, CBS, The Weather Channel, CNN Headline News, National Geographic Channel, FOX, HBO, Time-Warner, Golf Channel, ESPN, as well as major advertisers like McDonald’s, Honda, Pizza Hut, Hershey and Kodak. Stephen also created sonic brands for many international clients, including Al Jazeera, Kuwait TV, India TV, TRK Ukraine, GSP Romania, Info TV (Slovenia), and Azteca TV (Mexico).
With multiple Emmys, Promax Gold, ADDY and MUSE awards to their credit, Stephen Arnold Music’s specialized approach and commitment to the power of sonic branding, research, state-of-the-art production and unparalleled customer service is at the core of its promise. Stephen Arnold Music continues to set the creative bar in a highly competitive content landscape.
This amazing collection of instruments was not simply born out of a desire to collect. Stephen is a an extraordinary guitar player and composer. Therefore, the vast majority of these instruments were purchased out of need. Stephen knew early-on that in order to create unique pieces of music, those compositions would require different sounds. It would ultimately be necessary to have a collection of stringed instruments, since each one has its own unique tone and sound. Those sounds still get expressed through the music he still composes to this day.
Having the right tool for the job is imperative. Fifty years of purchasing the "right tools" has led to this stunning assemblage of instruments.
