ABOUT THE GUITAR:
"Turn Turn Turn"
"Most of the early groups I played in featured lots of guitars and heavy three-part harmonies, which was an early trademark of the Byrds. David Crosby, Chris Hillman, and Roger McGuinn, a trio of original members, all have a slice of their musical DNA wrapped up in the jingle-jangle sound of a Rickenbacker. Each of them also autographed this guitar, making it even more special.
McGuinn's piece de resistance included one of the band's most popular songs, "Turn! Turn! Turn!", next to his signature at the top of the pick guard. As the story goes, legendary songwriter Pete Seeger pulled the lyrics from the first eight verses from Ecclesiastes 3."
Rickenbacker was the first company to produce electric guitars. This 330-12 has an exceptional sound with two single coil pickups on a full size body, accented by a traditionally shaped sound hole.
